- first rehearsal for Junior Band (6:30 - 8:30 pm)
- 6:30 pm - all Junior band members and parents' meeting
Sept 2
- Grade 8 parent meeting - for all FH and PC grade 8 band members
- 7:00 - 7:30ish pm
Sept 9
- first Jazz Band rehearsal (3:30 - 5:00 pm)
All rehearsals from now until the Winter Break will be in FH Collins Secondary School (please note this is an update to previous communications) and after Winter Break, all rehearsals will be in Porter Creek Secondary School Cafeteria.
One big change this year is that there will be Intensive Band Classes running again - yah!!! One before Senior Band (6pm - 7pm) and one before Junior Band (5:30pm - 6:30pm). All intensive band classes will be run by either Mr. James or Mr. Moisey and will be held in F.H. Collins Secondary School prior to Winter Break and in Porter Creek Secondary School after Winter Break. Full attendance at these classes allow students who have not been able to fit band class into their schedule to still obtain full credit for band.
