All-City Senior Wind Ensemble

The Senior Wind Ensemble is made up of more than 30 members: mostly students in their fourth or fifth year of playing from grades 11 and 12 in Porter Creek, FHC and St. Francis of Assisi Secondary Schools and adult musicians from our community. By the end of each school year, Senior Wind Ensemble musicians have played in two concerts at the Yukon Arts Centre and have been part of our Elementary School Tours. If you are interested in joining our Senior Wind Ensemble, either as a student or adult community member, come along to our first rehearsals and information meeting/social on Tuesday 2nd September 2025, 6:45pm - 8pm (youth only rehearsal) and 8pm - 8:30pm (youth & parents/guardians information meeting) and Tuesday 9th September 2025, 6:45pm - 8pm (adult only rehearsal) and 8pm - 9pm (adult social) all in Porter Creek Secondary School Band Room (rehearsals after Winter Break will be at FHC Secondary School) or get in touch through our email: allcitybandwhitehorse@gmail.com

All-City Senior Wind Ensemble rehearses every Tuesday night from 6:45pm to 9:15pm and plays music between grade 3.5 - 5 level. On top of performing at the Yukon Arts Centre in December and May, this Band also tours outside the Yukon to perform in Band Festivals (last year in The Greater Victoria Performing Arts Festival).
